Everything or Nothing

So, here’s my entry to win the ShoeMoney Contest that he is promoting:

http://www.shoemoney.com/2009/12/09/affiliate-summit-gambler-or-not-contest/

Pretty much this is what I have to do to win it:

“How do you enter?

Write a blog post explaining why you should win this amazing opportunity and submit the url to your page in the comments below. Also make sure you tell us your decision to walk away with the cash or gamble… and if you gamble on what?”

OK! I started my journey into the Affiliate Marketing world in very late 2008 by first reading about domainers and a guy name Yun Ye making obscene amounts of money with them and shortly after, I read about and saw a video of Markus Frind (Plenty of Fish) and then I stumbled upon John Chow making money from his blog and then from John Chow’s blog, I found out about Shoemoney, whom lives in Lincoln, NE not far from me (I live in Omaha, NE). Somehow, seeing a pic of him showing off a check - I gots excited (no homo). Inthurrrnet moniez, hurr I come…

Shoemoney

Markus Frind inspired me for a bit, then I began reading John Chow’s blog, I then went on to Shoemoney’s blog trying to find some valuable intel to make money online. I even bought his tool ala Shoemoney Tools. As a Noob, I didn’t know how to work it properly and I reached out for help and also asked for mentorship, Shoemoney said he was too busy to offer any mentorship. He was kind enough to reply, so I appreciated it. I even reached out to one of the judges Neil Patel (SHOUT-OUT), he didn’t reply back right away - but when he did, he was positive in his reply.

I had $1500 from doing a medical study and started buying domains, random stuff offered by John Chow, many and various making money online bullshit (don’t even remember what I bought), and paying bills - then my med money became nil. Somehow my focus was on domains/blogs and didn’t really see, nor understand Affiliate Marketing to its full potential. I was like a week late for Affiliate Summit West January 2009 - but it wouldn’t have mattered, as I didn’t know what it was because of all the massive information that I just came into.

Rest of the year, for money I was to get temp work, and I focused on my domains and selling my screenplay (I’m a screenwriter) then in late-July 2009, after almost a successful sale of my domains, I happened upon Wikipedia’s page about Affiliate Marketing and finally it clicked and AM made sense to me. I gave up domaining and AM became a clear focus and I found and signed up for PPC-Coach (Triple HELL NO to the link) and I learned how to make polls. I made like $5 and the site owner is fucking clueless, as he doesn’t know what-the-hell is going on and actual advice was not given by him. The majority of the members and some of the moderators are really genuine and I appreciate that.

Then in September, I found out about a meet-up in Atlanta, courtesy of Meetup202, I figure I would go and hoped to make a connection of some kind that I pulled out my $1000 I managed to save up. It was a chance to meet Dr. Ngo after seeing him here or run my campaigns. *I chose Atlanta and I was hoping to make something happen.* Prior going to the trip, I was routinely pulled over by a cop and promptly arrested on a warrant of a bounced check from 2008 that my bank never informed me of (there was money in my checking account). I had to pay $500 bond to get out (-10%, it later went back to the court when I saw the judge in late November). So, I had $500 to make the trip and I drove my ass 16 long hours to get to this meet-up. I went and met with the infamous Dr. Ngo. I tried to connect with Dr. Ngo - but he was too busy. Though, I understand. Nevertheless, a great and smart guy that is doing it big. RESPECT. At the meet-up, Dr. Ngo championed a network by the name of, Azoogle (SHOUT-OUT), fortunately I was accepted prior going to the meet-up. Acknowledgment by Dr. Ngo, so-to-speak.

While in ATL - I set-up a Twitter account to connect with people in the industry and Barman (SHOUT-OUT) was cool enough to return the follow. After the ATL trip, I came home and tried to make shit happen in Affiliate Marketing - but I had limited funds to run anything substantial. During this time, I met with a movie producer, I came close to selling my screenplay. Though, no deal happened. There is some possible interests from other parties. Though, I can’t wait forever.

So there you have it, my Affiliate Marketing story in a nutshell. I hope to fucking win this contest with an absolute vengeance! To go to Las Vegas for the first-time, and to meet, mingle and most importantly network with smart money-making Affiliates, so that I may become a success and I shall return the favor when I do become a major success. As for the $1K or $2K, I’ll take that $2K and put it all on the line on one hand of blackjack. I’m not afraid to lose. Then afterwards, I’ll walk away with $4K (maybe more if I hit 21) instead of $1K to run my Inthurrrnet campaigns.

*Going to ATL and not making a connection may have been considered a loss. Nonetheless, I took the necessary chances.*

Of Note/Straight-talk:

I debated about putting myself out here, as I intended to be under the radar and keep myself low-key, so-to-speak (though I can’t sit back and expect good things to happen unless I act on them, such as this contest) - but this is a grand opportunity for me to win and to speed-up my learning curve by going to ASW on January 17-19 2010 to network with successful Affiliates that are making it happen. Fuck it… The chance to win is worth it. No retreat… No surrender… Phoenix from the flames… It’s time to rise!

EXTREME PREJUDICE

Author: vvsv admin  //  Category: Movies

In attempt to fill in my blog, I am just going to post what-the-fuck I want to keep it up to date, so to speak.  For any action movie lovers out there and who wants to grow more hair on their chest.  May I kindly suggest this Walter Hill directed modern day western.  A quick synopsis:

The story is about a Texas Ranger, Jack Banteen, who is conflicted in many ways - as he must uphold the law and fight crime. His childhood best friend, Cash Bailey is now the biggest drug dealer and Banteen is willing to look the other way should Cash stay in Mexico. There is also the emotionally torn love interest played by Maria Conchita Alonso, whom loves both men. From the opening credits, a group of dark cell soldiers come into town, lead by Michael Ironside to rob a bank. The job was to be flawless - but something goes awry and a deadly bond with Jack Banteen is formed to go after Cash Bailey. Nothing is what it appears to be and the final shoot-out will get your blood pumping.

I don’t want to give away too much away and hope interested-minded folks will want to watch the movie and be pleasantly surprised. You want a man’s movie that pulls no punches. Look no further.  HINT: Teaser and Trailer does not give you the whole story.

Selling sex & a Twinkie

Author: vvsv admin  //  Category: Selling

I caught the last showing of ZOMBIELAND, a cool lil’ movie.  Not too action-packed - but I was invested for the duration of it.  What was interesting was the previews prior to the main movie. I come to realize that EVERYBODY has something to sell.  So, if anyone says that they aren’t trying to sell you something/anything.  Slap’em.  Hard.  There was this particualr advert that caught me. It showed a good-looking guy at a cool party, bare-chested, shirt almost coming off and there was 2 hot chicks whom took notice of him and they come to him and start feeling him up and such.  All due in part because of cologne-type spray by Brand X (I’ll spare you my aff link). I was LMAO - So, the commercial is telling me if I buy Brand X and I go to a party/club and random hot chicks will feel me up - thus, prompting sex later.  From a normal mind-set I was like, “I’m buying this Brand X and hitting up da club, playa.”  Then, from an Affiliate Marketer mind-set I was like, “Thank You for your money.”  I realized it’s all in the sell and this sell worked.  It can be deemed false advertising if you want to look deeper into it.

In the end:  The advert sold me the cologne-type spray, per se.  Also, in the movie Woody Harrelson’s character was looking for a Twinkie and I wanted a Twinkie after the movie.  Though, I didn’t go get one.  It was clever how they did it and I’ll give them credit for it.  As I’m venturing through Affiliate Marketing, I am beginning to see the tricks and tactics of selling.  It’s a bloody war.

PS:
Yes, I pimped the Twinkie, now you’ll see the movie and see what the Twinkie is all about. ;)

Join the Taiwanese military!

Author: vvsv admin  //  Category: Selling

Hmm… This advert for the recruitment of soldiers for the Taiwanese military is highly suspect. They are advertising that their military has actual TRANSFORMERS! Don’t believe me… Like z’OMG, see for yourself:

I wonder if someone can sue, when an actual person actually joins and then, come to find out that there are *gasp* no TRANSFORMERS! Can this be labled under false advertising or really smart selling by the Taiwanese government? I say sue.

Spammers - They dead…

Author: vvsv admin  //  Category: Spam

In case people are wondering why I have so many spam comments is because I had this blog since late December of 2008 and it was my own personal blog that I just wrote random thoughts in. I had Google Adsense in this ma’fucka making this money online, ya’ll know. I had a bunch of monkey spammers comment and leave their BS links, obviously. Thus, you see so many spam comments that have been blocked accordingly.

Now, with a clean slate, renewed and refreshed with a mission objective: MAKING REAL MONEY ONLINE via AFFILIATE MARKETING.

Let’s thug it up in Twitter - WESTSIDE!

A New Breed

Author: vvsv admin  //  Category: First Post

Since this is my refreshed first blog entry. So, here it is…

My dreams vary and they are all related one way or another. First and foremost, I am a Soul Suicidal and I will never up hope, as I declare to live a life worthy and true. I enjoy unique/action/clever/cool movies and I will eventually make my own by writing, directing and producing them when my money is right. I’ve written a hitman story and during summer of 2008, I met with people associated with Will Smith and fall of 2008, the people representing The Wachowski Bros of The Matrix movies have asked to read the story. Both respective parties passed on it. Presently, I may have a sale with a producer of a recent summer action movie (all I can say). Perhaps, it will work out. Hoping for the best.

Lastly and most importantly, I’ve been toss aside, a broken-heart, and lost in time - but no longer. As I learned to endure and embrace the solitude and pain. I’ve become empowered by it and I will use it to reclaim my life and dreams - as I rendezvous with destiny. I searched for salvation to no avail. Now, I will use the tears and give them to my forsaken dreams, so they may take flight like a phoenix soaring out of the flames of time with a vengeance proper and ever so true! The nightmare shall come to know whom it has dishonored. No mercy will thunder with an absolute, as I punish the darkness for its wrongs. Hopefully, through my stories, people like me will be inspired to not give up hope and know that their life has meaning, value and a very special gift to give to the world.

So, I stumbled upon Affiliate Marketing after reading about domainers and a guy name Yun Ye was making crazy money with them. Well, I hope to do these kind of numbers with Affiliate Marketing. :)

Of Note:

For clarification sake. Suicidal is a positively term word for me, as I have dealt with suicide since I was young. I learned to be empowered by it - instead of succumbing to it. Just because a thing is a particular definition – it doesn’t define it as whole. And to one’s advantage, one can use it and flip it around and make it their own. In the end: It’s all about perspective. That’s what Suicidal is for me… A new perspective, a new idea, that is pushing it all in and ready to take it to the limit.
